Rained in the night but not as much as forecast. Now it's dull and windy. We have both DGC today, hope it's dry enough to play outside !

Its pouring of rain this morning and most of last night.Here in north essex All this after I stood and waterd the garden last night

Good morning everyone, we had rain in the night, and the garden looks so much better, although a bit wind battered, but I am sure the plants were grateful for some water. We have rain forecast for the rest of the morning. Not a lot doing today, moved our heavy furniture around yesterday, so feeling a little stiff, will go for a walk. Enjoy your days.

Morning Mick, morning all, it's raining here in Northumberland too. Not as windy as yesterday. Back from work, I've gone back to bed for a couple of hours. Had a fit of coughing and sneezing in the night which woke me up marvelously.

Morning all. Much needed overnight rain here on SE Hampshire coast but it's stopped now and the forecast is for it to brighten up.

Like Mick we shall be watching the Tour de France for much of the day - they're in the county of our birth today and tomorrow. Wonderful scenery if it's sunny. Can be miserable in the rain!

I watered the veggies last night too nannot. Don't trust the forecasts - they're worse than ever. A light drizzle had just started when I came down an hour ago and now it's raining properly so it looks like the belt of promised rain is coming a bit late.

I had hoped it would be early as pony mad DGD is having her 6th birthday party today. A riding party. At the stables. Outside! Anybody here from the Aylesbury area? Is it still raining?

Wet and cooler today here in North Leicestershire thankfully! We are having a lazy day after DN's wedding yesterday. Lots of good food, good wine and good company! The bride looked lovely , mum mostly behaved and we were entertained by a fantastic gospel choir

Good morning all, grey skies this morning but the overnight rain has stopped for now. Hope it stays dry, DD1 did a load of washing last night in the hope that she could put it out this morning.
