Have done the washing [ virtuous icon] only to find that when they re plastered my flaking wall while I was away! they'd broken the fixing for my washing line! angry
Had a lovely holiday thanks. Nothing much to say about it except for one couple on our table who really should have had a minder! More of them later!

Brendawymms Thu 19-Jun-14 12:24:46

Warm and very windy off the north coast of Africa. Next stop Malta on Saturday.

davestan Thu 19-Jun-14 11:58:39

...........Thanks reply Nan. No problem! You're doing fine! Enjoy just playing & exploring your tablet & any problems just let me or anyone else know (like grand children maybe!?.......they're usually experts!!!)
Anyway Nan, enjoy & have a good day.
Cheers.

Beautiful here in Bideford now - am thinking about doing some washing...only thinking, mind. DGD1 is on her way down to iron (she likes it, I pay her) after we have celebrated her final "A"Level. Bless her, she wanted to be busy to avoid the inevitable anti climax, but will have some money to go out with later.

DGS1 (her brother) came down having had his last Maths GCSE, a bit fed up but glad it's over. (Should add that their mum, DD, is still teaching, but I love the fact that they head straight here!)

Gagagran Thu 19-Jun-14 10:13:22

Morning all from a beautiful day in SE Hampshire. Summer perfection - and my sweet peas are blooming lovely!

We did the supermarket run early and were back home by 8am. It's well worth going early as it's so much quieter. I hate crowded supermarkets!

Nothing much planned for today so I plan to just potter and enjoy the lovely day.

Happy days everyone! sunshine

Morning All and Mick.

Just off to raid Waitrose before the family arrives tomorrow for the weekend, to celebrate my DS's 40th - gosh the time has just flown. Wish I could do it all again but with the knowledge I have now.

sparkygran Thu 19-Jun-14 09:42:26

Galen Thu 19-Jun-14 09:16:53

Lovely in Southampton.
On my way home now.

Nelliemoser Thu 19-Jun-14 09:14:52

Nannnotgarn I have a Google nexus tablet and spent some time yesterday putting a lot of events into the calender. Could I find them later? i eventually discovered what I thought was the list of the days of the month were the lists of hours for the 24 hr clock on yesterdays dates.

I think the only answer is to spend as much time as possible digging about with new toys like these so that you really get the hang of how they work.

Oldgreymare Thu 19-Jun-14 09:11:43

Lovely here in Somerset, looks like yesterday's breeze will continue to keep us cooler.
2nd phase of goosebery jelly making.... 4lbs made and more to come. Lots of GBs frozen too.
Ladies' day at Ascot, wish I were there envy
