I used to fancy Anthony Valentine but now he is just a fat, bald headed old chap. I suppose I am past my sell by date too.

Some age better than others obviously. Nigel Havers looks rather good for 62.

Harrison Ford is wearing pretty well. Not quite Indiana Jones any more, but as a slightly ageing Han Solo he should be a bit of all right!

What about Robin Ellis as Ross Poldark. Will the new one come up to his standards?

Robin Ellis was such a believable Poldark, the new actor has got some big shoes to fill. Curiously Richard Armitage was reputed to be in the running to play Ross Poldark at one point, now I can imagine he would have made a good job of the part.

I feel sad when I see how badly some hearthrobs have aged, thinking of Jan Michael Vincent, David Cassidy and Leif Garrett. I know it was their own lifestyles that did not help, but it does make you think. However, Nigel Havers is nicely preserved, as is Robin Ellis. It may be my age but I find Tony Robinson rather interesting too!!!
