I'm not sure I've spelt that correctly (it doesn't look right anyway) but it gives the gist: who were your heartthrobs and has it changed over the years?

Mine were:

Clint Eastwood (in his Rawhide and spaghetti western days)
Steve McQueen

and, oddly enough

David Bowie

Now I have developed a soft spot for David Dimbleby!

Bubbly could even be this one:

Oops, forgot to say: welcome to Gransnet Bubbly, hope you enjoy the site smile

Dear Tegan, I've just laughed so much, But If my pipes were checked I'm sure something would drop off!!! Well janerowena, could we share? Leathers a bit squeaky and I'd spoil the moment laughing, so on the days he's in leather he's yours. He looks lovely in a cravat,
I forgot lovely Gerry Sunquist, but was shocked at what became of him. Our hearthrobs are just normal people really.

janerowena Tue 17-Jun-14 21:26:43

Squeaky leather... hmmm... That's ok, Hollydaze is busy scrubbing him for me right now!

janerowena Tue 17-Jun-14 21:27:16

I rather liked him in Spooks, too. I shall just gloss over him being a teeny bit of a spy.

Is that what I was supposed to be doing with him - soz blush

Hollydaze, It's me!!!! I've said that to my sons friends, oh I'm so found out!!!! I could live to 100 and still appreciate lovely men, charming men. Before you get the impression I'm rampant, I promise you I'm not. Having a hearthrob just makes makes the world go round that bit more pleasant. Us young ladies deserve " a good daily drool"!!!!

I've got overexcited now, need to go off and fan myself!

bubbly1960 Tue 17-Jun-14 22:07:29

I've loved my first Gransnet experience, now off to lie down in a dark room and try not to imagine Richard Armitage being scrubbed down....... Sweet dreams all.

Lona Tue 17-Jun-14 22:12:24

Welcome bubbly you sure are bubbly! grin

NanKate Tue 17-Jun-14 22:40:26

I've just looked up on Google who Richard Armitage is and I can see why he is so alluring to some of you. He definitely has a bit of Elvis in his sultry looks. grin

You certainly did Bubbly - how many times did you hit 'send' on that message, you must have been in a right swoon grin

This is my new heartthrob - Jim Caviezel out of Person of Interest:

Phwoar grin

HollyDaze Wed 18-Jun-14 14:47:59

Crikey - that's a link and a half!

janerowena Wed 18-Jun-14 14:49:06

I hadn't thought of that, he does rather.

Think I shall find an excuse to play this through once more...

www.youtube.com/watch?v=IChU_qdmLRw

grin

He is now 42. That wouldn't be cradle-snatching, would it.

janerowena Wed 18-Jun-14 14:49:57

I quite like him too, hollydaze. But he isn't dark enough.

HollyDaze Wed 18-Jun-14 15:02:35

Well if he turned up and offered to take me out janerowena, I wouldn't say no grin

TriciaF Wed 18-Jun-14 15:38:55

Rowantree - Damien Lewis for me too.
Also Hugh Laurie, love his sense of humour (and his looks.)

merlotgran Wed 18-Jun-14 19:28:28

For those of you who liked Robert Horton, did you know he sang a version of the theme tune to Wagon Train

He had a good voice but I liked the version that went with the series which was faster and less schmaltzy.

bubbly1960 Wed 18-Jun-14 22:47:50

janerowena, lovely RA link, gorgeous man.
Was thinking last night does anyone remember Sean O Kane, who played Interceptor in the nineties? Last saw him as Captain Birdseye, that brought me down to earth with a thud!
I also fancied Brent Spiner being Data in Star Trek, tho I've recovered now! Must be my hormones!
