I've just seen on the internet that this programme is considered to be 'failing'.

Do you watch it? Do you enjoy it?

BBC breakfast here, just while we surface. And no daytime TV either, unless, surprise surprise, it is a Test Match, or a big rugby match! Or a small person staying who is awake at 6.00 a.m. (Oh, what I would have given for early morning TV when my lot were little!)

Ariadne........'while we surface' resonates with me.....the older I get the longer I seem to take to properly 'come to' in the mornings its like a slow awakening......as if from a chrysalis......!

I've never watched Good Morning Britain only occasionally Sky News if anything interesting is developing in the World,I'm a fan of Smooth Radio just softly in the background all day if I am at home,TV comes on about 7/8ish unless we have small people in attendance.

I'm another who never watches day time TV. Radio 4 on most of the time, even overnight. I think though John Humphries has mellowed, there was a time when he was switched off regularly!

I'm not good with inane chat. I've occasionally caught the One Show and that's bad enough. I'm assuming breakfast programmes are the same.

And why is it that they are all called 'shows' now, not programmes? We surely can cope with the difference with program (computer) and programmes. Dumbing down, methinks wink
