You must not wait until Friday unless there is to be a dramatic improvement within a couple of hours, which I doubt. My gut feeling is that he needs to be hospitalised for IV antibiotics and be under the care of the medical team. He does not have shingles and it does not look like chickenpox. As I have said before, I have no past professional experience of Lyme disease.
