Oh I must get one! Back patio faces North, covered in green mould/moss yuk! Have seen some expensive power washers, but I only have a small area so would a cheaper one work just as well?
Any recommendations?

We did the front patio and steps leading up to our apartment over the week-end surprising how nice weather gives you the urge to Spring clean,everything looks so much better now.

I agree BeeWitch but I would add either a cup of Lady Grey Tea or a glass of wine. In fact within 5 minutes that is exactly what I will be doing.

Warm bed and good book. Alternatively, chaise longue under a tree in the sun, and a good book.

A lovely glass of red in the garden, knowing the housework is done and dusted.

In which case I would never ever be able to have a glass of red...

Hearing the cuckoo, which has been going berserk every day for the last week. It's the sound of my childhood and whenever I have had to live away from water, I have so missed it.

Clean sheets
Fresh baked bread
Fresh coffee
A glass of white
A glass of red
Good chocolate

but most of all being allowed to enjoy it on my own thank heavens for the Bowls Club - bye bye husband.

Definitely a good book for me too with a coffee. I then curl up on the sofa to enjoy my book but I find more and more that it makes me sleepy and I end up struggling to keep my eyes open. I eventually end up trying to read with one eye open then after that stage I am sound asleep. Day or night. It's so annoying!

Lounging or pottering in the garden not caring that the house is not cleaned!

In the winter a hot bath with a good book and a snack!

I'm with janerowena on the cuckoo front. I've been listening out for a few days as we usually hear one in the distance but yesterday morning I was woken up about 7am by the loudest CUCKOOING I have ever heard. He must have been right outside the bedroom window.

The first cuckoo normally has me dancing around the garden singing the choral bit at the end of Mr. Blue Sky but DH spoiled the moment by grumbling, 'Tell the bloody thing to shut up'

I've just bought a new swing thing for the garden that I can lie down on and swing gently to and fro and reading my book, enjoying the warmth from the sun and listening to the birds singing - before falling asleep! The feeling of contentment is wonderful. Nothing huge or grand I know but still very pleasurable.
