Now you see, I just cannot do the 5/2 diet, although I am sure it works, as I cannot go all day with nothing to eat. I'm not a huge chocolate fan myself, but there is something so pleasing about an Easter Egg, and the way the choccy snaps off in nice [big] pieces!

I never deny myself chocolate. I just go on the 5/2 diet the following week.
It works.smile

That's a nice [if time consuming ]idea Holly but how did you get the bits of balloon out?
I only like good Swiss or Belgian chocolate eggs btw, no Cadbury sugary rubbish for this G'netter.
I don't honestly think that anyone will buy one for me anyway , as they all know I am on a diet so will probably buy me flowers instead[although sometimes I am so hungry that I may even chew the daffodils.]

I used to love chocolate but have lost my sweet tooth so I won't be fussed if I'm not bought one tbh.

I think they're so over-priced for what you get now. When my grandchildren were quite young, they have the shop bought eggs but they used to love making their own when we'd coat inflated balloons with melted chocolate (having shoved some small sweets inside the balloon first). After popping the ballons and removing them, they then had great fun decorating them. For the following hour, all I'd hear is 'are they ready yet Nanny?' grin

Not a chocolate fan either. I just love Turkish delight and anything of a jelly like consistency. Easter eggs are very very expensive chocolate.
However put a small egg inside a balloon and blow it up. Dip string in PVC glue, that can be coloured, and wrap around balloon lots of time. When dry carefully pop balloon. Kids have fun trying to get the egg out.

Not on a diet, but will probably get Easter eggs I do not really want as I do not really like chocolate.

My birthday on Easter day. They'd better buy me one at least!

It has to be dark chocolate for me.

Not accustomed to brevity - I have only two words on this subject

I really love crisp Easter egg chocolate!

annodomini Mon 07-Apr-14 21:14:46

Oh yes, roses, I want one but probably won't get one! I should be grateful for that...

Not me, I'm not a big chocolate fan!

I'm trying [valiantly] to lose a bit of weight but I still want an Easter Egg!
All the family will have them, so I hope someone buys one for me, do others want one, or is it just me?
