'More upset'?

Goodness, it was merely a comment on a well-known saying!

Another one from a 1950's mum 'See all, hear all and say bugger all'( I'm more polite than my mother she didn't say bugger)

Probably right Ana! It was something my mother said repeatedly so probably doesn't work if she had to say it so often to reassure me.

Only trying to cheer someone up, didn't mean to cause more upset.

I know that saying is well-meaning, rosequartz - but it just isn't true! Words can and do hurt us - very much so on occasion.
