Fancy writing a group limerick ?

Easter Bonnets are quite jolly things

If you wear them with cute earrings

(does this scan? I can't make it go with the next two lines!!)

They have flowers and bows

And cross gaitered hose,

So anything goes

And you end up covered in bling-s! Bah, humbug!

There was an old man from Devizes

Who had pants in different sizes.

So when he was fat

In the largest he sat

He'd buy a huge hat,

And other sartorial disguises.

I have just been pipped at the post,

I expect it's you minds the most...

And my first line don't scan right for a limerick.

Oh. It could be though

Try this?

I grew a herb garden last year

'Twas not too successful, i fear.

(Neither of us scan right, alie)

(Would summer be better than year? and "It turned out a bit of a bummer"?
