Inappropriate messages on tee shirts, especially on little girls.

The habit that some young men have of rootling down the front of their tracksuit trousers.....I don't like to think of what they may be touching afterwards . Horrid!

I do so agree about inappropriate clothing, dancing and pelvic gyrations in prepubertal girls. I had to judge a singing competition this summer and there were primary age girls singing songs that they had picked up off the TV that were about matters that were not suitable for them. Broken relationships, oblique references to sexual failure etc. - and all in skimpy shorts with the thrusting pelvis. Just not on.

If it counts as prudery, I don't like sharing changing rooms either in a shop or at a swimming pool. I like to keep my imperfections to myself and I don't much like looking at anyone else's......

Men 'shifting' their genitals around - my middle DS always does this. yuk!

Nipples protruding through T-shirts, especially on 'older to know better' droopy women.

Thongs. I am old enough to remember Dr White's sanitary towels held in place with a belt, and I am afraid that the strip of a thong showing above trousers reminds me of those horrid items. My main hate is smelly people, hate whiffs of body odour. Also find vests on men offensive when worn in the wrong place such as a food shop or facility. Sweaty armpits hanging over food is vile.

Two very large builders' bums in Aldi yesterday. Two grossly overweight men bending down to reach for plastic bags under the counter letting their tracky bottoms slip down. Yucky

I don't see it as prudery, but others may well do so. I dislike intensely any "jokes" about people or children with any form of disability. I find such attempts at humour anything but funny.

And I dont like seeing over enthusiastic snogging - anytime or anywhere!

Ladies of 'un age certain' who should know better, wearing far too much bright red lipstick, who dress in skirts far too short, tops far too low with a wide belt cinched in between, and totter along in high stiletto heeled patent leather boots.

One of the things that really makes me cringe is the dress code on so called serious politics/economics programmes on television. There are men looking uncomfortable in shirts and jackets but no ties on some programmes and then there are other programmes where the men are properly suited and tied but the female presenters are in much more skimpy attire- be it sleeveless, showing a bare front, tight leather trousers (yes I've spotted them!)..........

Small children wiggling about to inappropriate songs. We had an argument with our granddaughter a while back when she was aged between 2 and 3 and kept singing "I'm sexy and I know it". My husband got really annoyed, not with her, but more about her being exposed to the song. Probably adopted the wrong approach because we both used to tell her she was a sweet little girl, but not sexy, which she took as a personal insult and got quite angry and asserted that she was sexy. In the end we just ignored it and it stopped which we should have done that in the first place. Really don't like to see very young children writhing around mimicing sexy dance movements.

Also agree with you grannyactivist, don't like seeing butt cheeks uncovered gives out all the wrong messages, and some girls are so young I'm not sure they appreciate that.

Finally, one more thing, hate seeing lap dancing clubs on the high street or around residential areas just unacceptable. I'm glad to say residents a couple of miles away managed to get one closed down, it was literally sandwiched between a newsagent and a dry cleaners and opposite housing. Apart from being seedy establishments, the poor people who lived nearby had to put up with ruckus from the customers well into the early hours of the morning.

I saw a girl a few days ago wearing 'shorts' that were so tiny her bum cheeks were completely exposed. I didn't like the look I'll admit, but what really gets me is that it was a cold day and this girl looked half frozen. I am a bit of a prude, but I live at the seaside so when it's warm I expect to see skimpy clothes. My real beef is when I see youngsters inappropriately dressed in cold temperatures, too much flesh on show in those circumstances causes me to think that maybe the person cares more about appearance than warmth and that's sad.

Oh, and people talking about their bodily functions in huge detail, particularly concerning elderly incontinent parents! Yuk!!!

Trousers cut so low at the front in young men that you know they are going commando! Thankfully, it doesn't happen often but that look has been seared into my memory.

Or that look when the trousers are lower than the bottom and you CAN see all their underwear - I try so hard not to look to see if the underwear is clean and have to resist not pulling the whole ridiculous lot down!

I don't like piercings, other than ears and very small studs in noses.
But I've already been told off on GN before for saying so.

I Wasn't too keen when I caught DH going out to his shed stark naked on freezing cold early winter mornings. (closet nudist) But that was more the thought of pneumonia than anything.

I cured him of it by threatening to put him in a home.

Granny23 don't come down to Newquay on a Sat, too many Stag and Hen parties. I find it offensive in a family holiday resort when so many young men are wearing very sexy strange outfits which I have to explain to my young GC.

Yes, snogging in public is something I don't like to see - and sometimes it's hard not to!

Thongs...that some women regard as being sexy if seen peeping over the top of outer clothing. and YUK!
