I am up extra early busing it all the way to Leicester and back today to a beer festival.
Weather-wise foggy in Brackley.

I got in about 5.30...the sun came out - and went down.

rosequartz Thu 13-Mar-14 16:08:21

The sun is out!

kittylester Thu 13-Mar-14 15:54:15

Thank you for the flowers harri I will gladly accept them but they were not needed. Mum was up and in the lounge having eaten her lunch! Phew!! The hygienist gave me a hand scale rather than an ultrasonic and the dentist ground my high filling down to what seems to he the correct height! It's all going too well! confused

Sun coming out now, but Wales is still lost in the mists of time.

daffodilgirl1 Thu 13-Mar-14 14:15:32

Nantwich cold and cloudy but garden full of lovely bulbs and forsythia looks cheery ! New garden for us having just moved so every day a day of new discovery, including we have found a "discovery" fruit tree and a walnut tree.

AlieOxon Thu 13-Mar-14 13:23:40

Still dull and cloudy here - but daughter in Oxford 15 miles away says it's sunny!

NanKate Thu 13-Mar-14 13:20:24

No I don't think my cold is virtually caught Dustyangel, it's down to my DH who caught it from the GSs! Hope you are feeling better now. I think I will need a hot toddy tonight, purely for medicinal purposes. grin

annodomini Thu 13-Mar-14 12:49:00

Much clearer now, but forecast says the fog might come back overnight.

rosequartz Thu 13-Mar-14 12:36:17

Look a bit to the right, I'm waving!
No use, I can't even see the houses down the road. Perhaps I should stand on top of the bridge like Griff Rhys Jones

Galen Thu 13-Mar-14 12:23:48

In fact I can't even see the bottom of the garden 100ft away)

Galen Thu 13-Mar-14 12:22:39

I'm standing on top of my roof 360 ft above sea level opposite llanwerne and I still can't see you sad

rosequartz Thu 13-Mar-14 12:19:00

Hi Galen, we're still here, not floated off into the Irish Sea.

I can't see you, please wave a bit harder
wink

Galen Thu 13-Mar-14 12:09:53

Foggy here still. Haven't seen Wales for several days now.
Hey! All you welsh, are you still alive and well?

lefthanded Thu 13-Mar-14 11:22:11

My son (who has been recovering from Carpal Tunnel operations) finally decided that he was able to drive this morning so he has taken the grandson to school. And that means that for the first time in weeks I didn't have to get up at 0715.

So don't ask me what the weather was like earlier - I've no idea.gringrin

dustyangel Thu 13-Mar-14 11:06:59

you got you have got NanKate

dustyangel Thu 13-Mar-14 11:04:23

Good morning, another lovely sunny day here. All the spring flowers are coming out now and I should be out and about enjoying them but I have had some lurgy that I hope isn't what you got NanKate. Mine started with a sore throat last Wednesday has gone through various unpleasant symptoms changing daily and has ended up with a streaming cold.
Can you catch colds virtually?

Nonu Thu 13-Mar-14 10:55:58

good morning , sunny but slightly fresh here , Cheltenham this afternoon , goodo !

Nelliemoser Thu 13-Mar-14 10:35:15

harrigran Thu 13-Mar-14 10:15:45

Good morning from a sunny north east, fifth day in a row. NT property beckons today.
Enjoy your time with DGC ga.
flowers for you kitty because I have a feeling your day is going to be trying.

KatyK Thu 13-Mar-14 10:10:45

Sun breaking through in Brum now

MrsM Thu 13-Mar-14 10:03:57

Good morning all - sounds as if many will be busy today, in pleasant or less pleasant tasks and activities. I think my favourite would be Mick's beer festival! It's nice and bright here now, after very thick fog earlier.
I think we have decided to go out for lunch - Brewery Centre here we come. Almost my own beer festival, or the potential to be so!

Lona Thu 13-Mar-14 10:00:09

Morning! Still very misty/foggy here. Hate the dampness of it.

Ga Enjoy your littlies sunshine
kitty hope mum isn't too difficult.
rose You'll feel better when it's done wink

rosequartz Thu 13-Mar-14 09:43:49

Cuoboards - oh never mind! Wardrobes!

rosequartz Thu 13-Mar-14 09:42:50

Good morning everyone.

Today I have to go and sort out some cuoboards full of
junk stuff to make room for visitors to put their clothes.

feetlebaum Thu 13-Mar-14 08:50:11

More mist than fog, I think, here in the Windsor area. (Mind you, I have no idea what the real difference is.)
