Good morning all - a clear and pleasant day here in Devon. I'm off to collect my grandchildren who are coming to stay for a few days whilst mummy supervises the removal. The little one has just started to walk properly, so I'm expecting to get a lot of exercise. smile

Morning all.

Yes foggy in Thames Valley but the sun is getting ready to burn through.

Got a sore throat so I think I have caught the family cold, otherwise all fine here.

Brendawymms Thu 13-Mar-14 07:07:14

No fog here in this part of East Sussex b it this may be because it's in the valley and we will get it as it rises.
New IPad mini, hopefully coming today, then there is all the transferring of my books I have on the current one. Hundreds of them. As I have lots of audio books they take up a lot of space so needed a mini with more storage.
So that's what I am doing today.

Good morning from the South Coast and a frost but fine - it is so much nicer to wake up on a sunny morning isn't it. Spent yesterday cutting back some rose bushes and have two more to do, not sure if the back will stand it, but I will have a go. Enjoy your days

Good morning from foggy Cheshire. No signs of the sun at all at present.

kittylester Thu 13-Mar-14 07:57:21

Good morning!

Very foggy in North Leicestershire but I'm sure I can find my way to Sainburys! I have a really exciting day today - Sainsbury's, hygienist, dentist (again!) and a visit to Mum who is,apparently, refusing to leave her bed! confused

I hope you all have great days! sunshine

Foggy here in Manchester but expected to clear later. I'm planning a quiet and recuperative day as I've had a hectic time lately, culminating in a visit to very pregnant DD in London. We went to the opera at Covent Garden, which was marvellous, but it was touch and go as to whether she would fit into the rather tiny seats there. Sadly my DS has been made redundant for the second time in 2 years so off to the other end of the country in a couple of weeks' time to see him and his family.

Enjoy the beer festival Mick!

annodomini Thu 13-Mar-14 08:40:19

Fog is now clearing. At 6am I couldn't see the tops of the trees.

feetlebaum Thu 13-Mar-14 08:50:11

More mist than fog, I think, here in the Windsor area. (Mind you, I have no idea what the real difference is.)

rosequartz Thu 13-Mar-14 09:42:50

Good morning everyone.

Today I have to go and sort out some cuoboards full of
junk stuff to make room for visitors to put their clothes.

rosequartz Thu 13-Mar-14 09:43:49

Cuoboards - oh never mind! Wardrobes!

Lona Thu 13-Mar-14 10:00:09

Good morning all - sounds as if many will be busy today, in pleasant or less pleasant tasks and activities. I think my favourite would be Mick's beer festival! It's nice and bright here now, after very thick fog earlier.
I think we have decided to go out for lunch - Brewery Centre here we come. Almost my own beer festival, or the potential to be so!

KatyK Thu 13-Mar-14 10:10:45

good morning , sunny but slightly fresh here , Cheltenham this afternoon , goodo !

dustyangel Thu 13-Mar-14 11:04:23

Good morning, another lovely sunny day here. All the spring flowers are coming out now and I should be out and about enjoying them but I have had some lurgy that I hope isn't what you got NanKate. Mine started with a sore throat last Wednesday has gone through various unpleasant symptoms changing daily and has ended up with a streaming cold.
Can you catch colds virtually?

dustyangel Thu 13-Mar-14 11:06:59

you got you have got NanKate

My son (who has been recovering from Carpal Tunnel operations) finally decided that he was able to drive this morning so he has taken the grandson to school. And that means that for the first time in weeks I didn't have to get up at 0715.

So don't ask me what the weather was like earlier - I've no idea.gringrin

Galen Thu 13-Mar-14 12:09:53

Foggy here still. Haven't seen Wales for several days now.
Hey! All you welsh, are you still alive and well?

rosequartz Thu 13-Mar-14 12:19:00

Hi Galen, we're still here, not floated off into the Irish Sea.
