I've been doing my pal's ironing for the best part of the day. As she and husband have celebrated 24 years together, we, MacS and I, were offered a wee dram of super special malt as we were about to leave for home.
I'm therefore "squiffy"! I'm also wearing a silly grin on my face.
Bella, you and your dear husband are in my thoughts. At 7pm I shall send my special thoughts across the air-waves.
Freshly picked broad beans...Mmm
A great favourite of mine.
Dragonfly, having now recovered from a nasty throat and chest infection, I can say that I understand how your dear grandson is feeling. I add my very best wishes for his speedy recovery. Torben made us smile during our visit. He had been complaining for an hour or more about tummy ache. We all had an ice cream, after which he remarked, "It's a miracle! My tummy feels better again".
anno The person who damaged your wall, must have been aware of hitting it. Some time ago, in a motorway car park, some bod scraped along the length of our car. We were very cross. It cost a pretty sum to get the car re-sprayed.
Agus Something to put a smile on your face...the sketch of Bobby's portrait, will be on the easel before afternoon tea. You deserve it.
Nonu my dear, the arty-farty face is grinning. I do believe that, at long last, I've as good as completed the portrait of Big Cat and Edith. Next step...once Bobby's picture is ready, is a trip to Lochgilphead, to deposit both pics with the framers.
