How many of us are followers of the great FSM?

Galen Fri 21-Feb-14 17:44:33

They found hundreds of bows and arrows on board and some of the bones belonged to archers (of the toxophilite varitety, not Pat and Tony)

What limbs, jeni?

My first bow, Blubow, was a Hoyt Excel. MrB wants to know if yours is a Formula Excel.

Galen Fri 21-Feb-14 18:09:50

Excel 68 24. Platinum 17 " arrows. doesnt say. It was the most comfortable for me and the lightest.

I had a wooden grip fitted as the black plastic one it came with, hurt my thumb.
I can't wait til Sunday now to try it. It pulls about 24 1/2 lbs.

Galen Fri 21-Feb-14 18:44:47

Don't think it's the formula, they're much more expensive.

Came hurtling into this thread happily as thought it was about us growing dreadlocks and having lots of pasta meals[now goes sadly away, disappointed.] sad

Galen Fri 21-Feb-14 19:14:31

I have lots of pasta meals. No bodies told me as an observant pastafarian that I must have dreadlocks? However, if necessary, I shall inform my hairdresser Dave next week to do my hair in that manner!

LizG Fri 21-Feb-14 19:18:51

Oh yes, and remember to take photos!

rosesarered Fri 21-Feb-14 19:24:04

Until my 'dreads or 'dreds' [unsure about spelling] are long enough I shall wear a woolly hat in the pastafarian manner.'hey man, gimme five!'

feetlebaum Fri 21-Feb-14 20:24:53

LizG - No no no! Not fluffy... she is the Invisible Pink Unicorn (peace be upon her) - as proof of her divinity she is not only PINK. but also INVISIBLE...

The IPU pre-dates the FSM by some years.

feetlebaum Fri 21-Feb-14 20:25:47

The hat pastafarians wear is actually a colander.

Galen Fri 21-Feb-14 20:34:17

In the higher grades, containing pasta!

rosesarered Sat 22-Feb-14 16:00:04

Yes, I know, a woollly colander. Anyway, how do you know the unicorn is pink if she is invsible? Huh? Gotcha there!

Galen Sun 23-Feb-14 18:33:46

Now that Scientology has been deemed a religion and therefore can claim tax breaks etc. what about the church of the FSM?

feetlebaum Sat 01-Mar-14 14:47:11

rosesarered: That is the proof of her divinity! The ability to be both invisible AND pink at one and the same time - nothing short of miraculous!

Galen Sat 01-Mar-14 14:51:38

My FSM Tshirt has arrived. I shall wear it for archery (in the summer)
Do you think it'll be ok in the grills lounge of the QE?hmm

rosesarered Sat 01-Mar-14 17:42:16

In a word NO!

thatbags Sat 01-Mar-14 18:57:26

I dare you, galen! grin

thatbags Sat 01-Mar-14 18:58:14

Get yourself a noodly skirt to go with it...

Galen Sat 01-Mar-14 19:49:20

Haven't seen one of those!
Yes I will, I'll get a hoot of me wearing it in June when I do the Baltic to st Petersburg. Hope it's as warm as it was last time!

newist Sat 01-Mar-14 19:49:22

I think we should see your Tshirt before we can give an opinion

Galen Sat 01-Mar-14 19:49:41

A hoot? A photo!
