Can't sleep - won't sleep - anyone else awake?

harrigran Fri 15-Apr-16 12:44:28

Well I slept from about 2am to 8.20am, I was surprised to have slept that long and no horrid dreams either smile

rubylady Fri 15-Apr-16 16:48:38

Thanks Nana that is good advice. I will take it on board and only do so much as I feel able. Luckily, I have a free night off, my DS is staying out so I can please myself tonight and hopefully sleep better.

That's good harrigan, at least you got some sleep and with the bonus of no bad dreams, you'll be cartwheeling all over the place today! grin

harrigran Fri 15-Apr-16 18:34:50

If only ruby, I can't walk smile

boheminan Sat 16-Apr-16 01:34:20

I was so tired I went to bed around 8.30pm last night - BIG MISTAKEhmm....Anyone else awake?

jogginggirl Mon 18-Apr-16 02:31:42

Lying in bed - overthinking everything...? Think I'll go and make a brew - see if that helps hmm

rubylady Mon 18-Apr-16 02:54:13

Hi jogginggirl I'm still up, should be in bed as I have an appointment for bloods in the morning at 9 so I'm going to be tired. Hope the cuppa is helping. smile

rubylady Mon 18-Apr-16 02:57:06

So sorry to hear that harrigan I didn't know. I have some understanding as I too struggle with walking about , it takes all my freedom away. I hope today has you feeling a little better. smile

Nana3 Mon 18-Apr-16 03:02:31

Hi jg and ruby I'm going to make a cuppa too and there's a piece of cake left over from lunch with my name on it. Hope you two get some sleep soon.

Jennypops Mon 18-Apr-16 03:04:41

I am still awake too! Can I have some virtual cake? Please.

jogginggirl Mon 18-Apr-16 03:05:51

Hi ruby - I'm sure the brew will help in the end thank you smile
Being awake at this time gives me a different perspective on things ... so, not all bad wink

Try and get some sleep yourself so that you are wide awake and ready for those bloods at 9.a.m. - good luck ?

jennypops cupcake

rubylady Mon 18-Apr-16 03:16:29

That's not fair, mentioning cake, I am fasting here! grin

The doctors said I didn't need to but I think it's best if taking a cholestrol check. I need a vit B12 check too, but I might have to fight for that to be done.

You all enjoy your cake, I'll have some later. Jogginggirl don't let your mind wander too much, it can be bad in the middle of the night, try to focus on something pleasant or make some plans which will make you happy. I've been granted full PIP so I've been looking at motobility cars although the thought terrifies me of driving again. confused

Nana3 Mon 18-Apr-16 03:21:22

Are you any nearer to getting the car ruby ?

jogginggirl Mon 18-Apr-16 03:27:19

Good morning hmm Nana3 and jennypops - I'll pass on the cupcake thank you - I'm feeling a little queasy ...?

ruby - that is brilliant news about the PIP - I really hope that makes life easier for you... As you know, my daughter who has CFS and Fibro, was also awarded this allowance - it helps enormously, although, as a single mum - she still has to work as well - when she is able!

I hope you can bring yourself to begin to drive again, I'm sure it will make a big difference to your life and give you some independence back. smile

It's a busy night-shift tonight wink

Going to have a listen to something on BBC World Service.
Thanks for the company, I hope you all soon manage some sleep.
Good luck with the blood test ruby.
Hope the brew helped jg
moon night xx

Yes, Jogginggirl I've already enquired with a driving instructor to give me some refresher lessons. It's no use being awarded it if I don't take advantage of it and with the maintenance of the vehicle, it will put my mind at rest driving it. I want to get my doggie out and about, poor thing stays in most days as my walking is bad. Just to put her in her little car seat and take her a drive would make her day and mine too.

I didn't know about your daughter, but I am glad she has some independence with her motor. She sounds like she has an awful lot to deal with, I sometimes don't know where we women find the strength from. Hugs to your lovely daughter. And to you, of course too. flowers

rubylady Mon 18-Apr-16 03:50:44

Thanks Nana it's a repeat test so most things should be in order, hopefully.

Sleep well love. Xxx

jogginggirl Mon 18-Apr-16 04:01:57

Thank you for the (((hugs))) ruby - right back at you ?

I'm going to try and nap on the sofa - promise me you will try too...

Night night all xxx

Fab sunrise this morning, all the trees bathed in gold. Almost makes insomnia worth while.?
