It's nearly bedtime again and 'himself' has wandered through to the bedroom. It's becoming a bit of a palaver, all this.....getting into bed, settling with my book, then he puts his book down, shuts his light off and promptly starts snoring.....! How can anyone start snoring immediately - or even fall asleep as soon as they turn the light off
?
That's 3 nights now, that I've trudged through to the spare room, dragging my pillow like Christopher Robin dragging Pooh Bear, trying to hold my book, my water, etc, etc. Then I have to pull all the cushions off the spare bed (not fancy ones - I don't have fancy cushions, really- it's just somewhere I seem to store spare cushions). I even take my earplugs with me, in case he snores so loud that I hear him through there as well
.
Just had a thought.....perhaps he's doing it on purpose, as he wants to have the bed to himself - just him and Daisy (the cat)
?
Someone needs to go back to Junior School himself.
