My 4yr DGS said to his mum today " Nans do knitting don't they Mum? but Gran (me) doesn't knit so that's why she's called Gran, isn't that right Mum?" smile

Never forget dgd looking out of the window on a wet and windy day and asking if we could go to beach because she was fed up with rain and it was always sunny at the beach - if only

Hi Nonu, soup manager was what DS2 called the soup ladle when he was little and we still call it that.

My 5 year old GS left my DD and I lost for words the other day. He asked for a biscuit. Mummy said he could have 2. He then took 3 and before either my DD or I could tell him off he held up the biscuits, pointed to them and said - zero, I, 2 ! Needless to say , he got away with all 3 biscuits! Kids!

Asked 3 year old DGS to ask his Dad what he would like to drink. DSiL asked for pina colada, so DGS ran to me and asked clearly for pina colada
I told him we didn't have any and to go yet back and ask again. This time DSiL asked for Chateuneuf Du Pape. The little one ran to me and said, "My Daddy wants something you haven't got!" grin

My DD to my GS1 (age 7)

'What are you doing?'

'Googling to find out what materials I need, apart from Obsidian, to build my ended portal!' hmm
