Lots of rain over night and more expected later. Off to court this morning and then we have an invasion of DC and DGC coming to meet Lottie who is here for the weekend - with her parents and big sister.

My first day of voluntary NT gardening. Will give wet gardening a go, and then at least I will know what it's like.

Morning - another typical lancashire day here. Rain, low grey sky, wet, wet and more wet. I shall need my waterproofs when I take the dogs out for another wet and muddy walk. The dogs of course will love it, and no doubt will swim in the reservoirs again.

Penrhyn nellie. Had a fascinating walk around with head gardener who has recently taken over. Not had so much latin thrown at me since I did my o level. Not that big on latin plant names myself.

Good morning everyone. A bit chilly and dull, with a stiffish breeze, no rain at the moment, and it is supposed to get better during the day, so live in hope. Not a lot doing today, off to support a very small market, I think there may be some really nice cooking apples for sale there.

Good morning everyone. Looks as if busy days are planned - we had the most tremendous thunderstorm yesterday evening and it rumbled around till the early hours and the torrential rain continued all night. Looking a bit brighter this morning. Nothing much planned yet but if the bread is stale enough to make crumbs I think I shall mix the Ch*****s puddings. Morning all. I have just cleaned the bathroom so that indicates what the weather is like !

Good morning, it is a grey day. DH and I will go out for lunch, to pot with the housework.
I had my flu jab last Friday and this is the first day that my shoulder is not sore and painful. I think how pain free depends on nurse, it was fine last year.

Just got rid of an armful of blood and had my BP tested. And it has come down, so for the moment I am not at risk of medication!
