Beginning to wish I hadn't

Yes, Gracesmum, I know how you feel. Now that I have made the effort to get up and have a shower and lunch, I am feeling guilty because I am sitting here with G'net and not going out in the garden with a fork to destroy some weeds.

I was like that last Sunday, but felt good once I'd braved the elements [actually it was really mild last Sunday; a bit grim today, at least, oop north it is!].

btw. I'm not depressed. Maybe lacking verve or zip, but not depressed!

Not a bit grim here, to the west of you, crimson - bright sun, blue sky, glorious autumn colours. And my windows need washing...

What happenend to "day of rest"?? Always sounded like a good idea to me and regretted that a) being female b) being a Mum c) being a teacher meant I had permanent exemption.
