Exactly, Marelli - rather like shadenfreude....human nature, I suppose!
I think there's an old Chinese proverb, Anagram, but I can't remember exactly how it goes. Something like: 'There's no better news than to hear that your neighbour's roof has blown away....' Probably got it completely wrong, but I can understand the meaning of it! 
Anyone else seen this magazine? It was on the shelf at the supermarket by the till. From the cover headlines it seems to be full of stories of terrible family tragedies.. but it is called Pick Me Up. Sounded as if it would do the opposite.
