This puts your own problems into perspective (doesn't make them any easier to bear, though). I have just seen an item on the news about a girl of 15 with terminal cancer who has just completed the last of her 'bucket list' of things she wants to do before she dies. Her mother said she knew it wouldn't change the prognosis but it would give them something positive to remember. How does any mother cope with knowing her child is going to die before she has a chance to experience life?
