And - not my story so haven't said anything - but my DS1 and DDiL go to the adoption panel today, after nearly three years in the process. (Papers got "lost" at one stage) My heart aches for them. Please, GNs, send lots of positive vibes / prayers. I am nearly in tears as I write this.
I bought the Minecraft game. And it works on Internet Explorer but not on Firefox, sudden memory problems....AND the settings got changed somehow, and I got attacked by a monster...help!
Annobel - don't I know it - and it always seems to be a BIG bird, too! Ahh, glass, these things do bring back sweet memories of our old pets - I was thinking of putting some of Daisy the Cat's brushings out for the birds (she's white and long-haired), but knowing her, she'd sneak up on the birds while they were gathering it...
My dog always shakes herself before we walk through the door, and leaves hairs on the doormat. Each year, lots of chaffinches come along in the spring and pick the mat clean of hair to take for their nests. When we had cocker spaniels, there was always lots of lovely soft hair in their brushes, which we would leave on top of the hedge for the birds to collect.
green when I brushed my cocker spaniel you always ended up with a big ball of golden down from her coat. I would brush her in the garden and leave the ball of fluff and you could see all the birds coming and claiming the fur for nesting, it would have made a lovely soft nest ahh thats brought some(teary) lovely memories back of our time together.
Beautiful at the moment! Dropped DH off at the station for a meeting in London, and drove back a different way which took me past ASDA, where there was a George sale....bag full of bargains! Doesn't it make you feel good?
It was a lovely morning until about five minutes ago when I had just hung out the washing. Sod's law! It is also covered with bits of tissue. I'm just going to leave it there and hope the forecast was right about it being mainly sunny. Then I'll have to pop the lot into the tumble drier which I find is the best way to get tissue fragments off clothing. Memo: clear the filter! Now for a much-needed haircut.
