green darling, really, running on empty not a good state to be in. Is sitting in the living room with a slippery eiderdown the kindest way to treat yourself in the middle of the night. I know not everyone has a spare bed... but was that the cosiest possibility?
(I am definitely sleeping better since i discovered the bliss of wrapping myself in a microfibre blanket, no sheet. They are pretty cheap and easy to wash and dry. They are surprisingly warm without getting too hot.
But that is a slight digression... or example...)
So here is my fairygrandmother wish for you 1. Locate your inner fairygrandmother 2. Imagine she is planning a cosy place for you to snuggle up with your book in the middle of the night if you are awake and he is snoring 3. Put plan into action. 4. Repeat the fairygrandmother's mantra : "I can't look after others unless I look after myself" or her other favourite "I have a right to take care of myself" xx
Do you agree with me or parent and child?
Support and friendship for those whose lives have been affected by estrangement.
