Has anyone read this three volume work by Nobel Prize winning writer, Sigrid Undset? Been listening to a podcasted review of it and it sounds interesting but maybe a bit war-and-peacish in length.

Just seen your posting.I read it in my early twenties and was absolutely gripped by it.Being a student I had plenty of time to read it and could not put it down.It is far more straightforward than War and Peace and not so many characters if I remember rightly.Do read it thatbags
