She had been in hospital for over 5 weeks, battling infection after infection as best her frail old body could fight. R.I.P Jean. A good woman, a good mum, a good person. X
My heart goes out to you and my thoughts are with you .Losing your mother is such a massive trauma .My Mother was very ill for a long time but it was still such a shock when I no longer had her .Take great care of yourself xxxxx
So sorry you've lost your mum, MissAdventure, at least being adult you've got many memories. If you lose your mum very young as I did, there's hardly anything to reach on to, and they are so very precious. Hope Christmas won't be too hard for you - bad at any time but somehow worse at this time of year when everyone is so relentlessly jolly. I haven't read all the posts so I hope you've got someone to hug you.
I think of my dear Mum every day. I feel completely enveloped by her love, she left me a letter in her beautiful handwriting saying she would always be with me and I know she is.
It's so hard when you lose your Mum, sending you condolences and now she's at peace. My Mum and I didn't always agree, it was only after she'd gone that I realised what a lovely person she was.
Be kind to yourself, I bet you have been right there for her for quite a while, she is comfy now and you can relax and know you did the right thing by her. So sad and grieve but come out knowing you were a good daughter x
Adventure, so sorry to read about your loss. I am sure she enjoyed the years that she was alive, so now it is time for you to do the same for yourself. This is what I kept saying to myself when my father died and gave my old mother a wonderful life. She is still alive at 99, so wants to get to her 100 yr birthda
