Comfy pyjamas

Are you looking for the cotton jersey type, or the sort of shirt material ones, kitty?

M&S pj bottoms have no depth to them from waist to crotch so are uncomfortable.
I did buy some in TK Maxx (or tacky max as my friend calls it) which were better but I don't know of any particular make.

Sorry not a pj fan for this very reason, why not try a jersey nightshirt instead, lots around including M&S

I like jammies except for that very problem, not comfortable around 'the bits'. Also I like a nightdress that is ankle length, especially when having got changed early and not yet heading for bed. Like my legs covered while up and about. If nightie is short I wear pj bottoms with it and maybe take them off when I go to bed.

Comfort can usually be had (from the seams) if you wear knickers underneath and definitely the Jersey knit fabric for pj comfort.

My friend likes the silky satin finish fabric as she finds it slides over the sheets and makes turning over easier.

My pjs are all M & S probably because I lived near an Outlet Centre.

Get some men's ones? John Lewis?

i agree with gonegirl mens ones as more space around the bits

I'm not a fan of pjs either for the same reason. I bought a really expensive, but beautifully comfy, night gown from toa.st last year and never regretted it. After all you spend a long time in bed.?

I like John Lewis 100% cotton. I usually buy a size larger so they’re really roomy and comfortable.

P.S. my most recent are in the Lilley design - they’re in the sale now.?

Matalan have some lovely pjs.

Most of my pj's come from Matalan - depending on the time of year they have lovely fleecy ones for winter and cooler jersey or cotton types for summer. I don't wear them in bed - put them one early evening and when I get up but always wear knickers under them which definitely helps with the 'chafing'.

The reason I like pjs is that the tops have support (badly needed!!) though it is difficult to come by nowadays and my legs are appalling. Jersey nighties cling everywhere but might be the answer.

I'm currently wearing a pure cotton one like my mum would gave worn and cant stand it!!

I do love my Marks and Sparks wincyette nighties though. Like a bit of air round my bits.

Next and John Lewis have a nice range in pyjamas Kitty not sure about the fabrics, but worth a look.

Don't like 'slippery'. Don't like hard seams. Don't like pure cotton/winceyette which needs ironing to be comfy.
So definitely cotton jersey.
Primark pj's wash beautifully, getting softer with every wash.
Tops n bottoms can be mixed n matched. They won't last forever but are inexpensive and there's a huge range of styles and colours.
Buy a size bigger than you need and you're sorted!
Now about to get into my pink trousers with grey t-shirt top and watch tv in bed!

Cotton jersey is too clingy and rides up IMO.

I find the cotton jersey ones feel nice but, when I turn over in bed, they don't twizzle round with me!

kitty I know just what you mean, I have exactly the same needs regarding PJs! For the past few years I've been buying mine at a large branch of Sainbury's. I go in to buy food and come out with yet another pair of pyjamas, lost count of how many I've got! They're cotton jersey which goes really soft after a few washes. The jacket is button-through and mine are short-sleeved, with cropped trousers. They're very reasonable, think the last ones I bought were £12. Previous ones were only £9 during one of their 25% off promotions. (They also do long-sleeved ones with full length trousers but I think they might be less comfy.) I usually buy a size bigger than I am so they're super-roomy! The elastic round the waist is very gentle and when I lost a bit of weight I thought I might need to buy some braces to keep them up!

I have always been a nightie person, as I found pyjama bottoms really uncomfortable, but I recently felt the need to buy pyjamas for a hospital visit. They were so comfortable that I bought a second pair exactly the same. M & S butterfly, cropped pyjamas. I will try to add a link.
