I bought DH some silk polo neck/ chest warmer tops to keep him warm after he fell and broke both arms. They are beautifully warm but the material is so light that the chest and back Fabric keeps riding up. Ideally the bottom ends need to be weighted to make them hang properly. Please can anyone suggest anything heavy enough (but not too bulky) that I can use to remedy the problem?

How about that fine lead string you can buy to weight down curtains. It is like a thin cord and can just be threaded through the hem.

Any good soft furnishings shop should have it or ebay.

Link above seems incredibly long, but it was copied directly off the ebay site. Try going into ebay and just tying curtain weighted cord.
