UK not just England

To be fair, Wales has had many mentions with weather recently, as parts of it had hotter temperatures than anywhere in the UK.
How are you and other Welsh GNers dealing with all this unaccustomed heat and dryness Annie?
Here in England, I am gargling ice cubes and sitting next to the fan which is on the max setting.

Is Scotland really part of the UK? I thought it was managed by Norway.?There be dragons, and a wall which most of us English do not care to cross over.
We know not what the weather is like there, but have heard stories of mists (Scotch mist) that appear suddenly and lure the unwary into falling from crags and into lochs!

I wasn't sure whether she really hadn't heard lemongrove or was pretending to be too young.lol. Jalima, I used to get it and then cancelled (in a huffy moment) because offers never applied to us in NI. I enjoyed it. I dont often read magazines as I find them boring but Saga wasn't. I recently reordered it but it hasn't come yet so I don't know if its still as good. And you've reminded me I must check on non-arrival.

Perhaps it’s only the English who need advice on coping in these weather conditions. Other nationalities don’t need advice on the obvious.

It’s a bit mean that all the Scots and Welsh people who live in England are not passing the advice on. Maybe it’s a conspiracy to gradually let us English melt away .

Baggs of course theres an English parliament ...85% of all MP's at Westminster are English .Now unless I am very mistaken that means the English vote always wins .....85% as opposed to 15% ,its a no brianer and I cant quite understand why everyone else doesn't see it either.Oh and ont get me started on EVEL ....Its english votes for english laws..BUT English MP's still vote on SCOTTISH laws .Now why is that ?
The Scottish parliament has power over just 17% of all our laws..15% of all our welfare ...taxation? a very small say in that .So devolution although our government is doing well could do much more with more of OUR money back and more say over OUR country
