Hi ,Im new on here ,apologies if I have posted in the wrong place ,my mum died this year and I so miss having someone to chat to ,have coffee with etc .I have plenty friends but miss the company of I suppose an older person ( apologies don't want to offend anyone but cant think of a better way to put it ). Im in Scotland and would love to hear from anyone who would be interested ,thanks in advance x

Whereabouts are you? Have you been to any of the Scottish meet-ups every month or so, littlejane? Usually about half a dozen people, not always exactly the same ones but a lot of regulars. There is a lot of fun and chat. You have just missed the last, but something will be happening sometime in January.

Edinburgh is the usual place to meet - but the trains are frequent! Always open to suggestions for venues and excuses to get together.
