I can't understand about" Tony Blair did such and such" ... as some sort of excuse, I don't agree with what Tony Blair did and he's not the PM now, surely we are allowed to hold the current t*sser to account, the fact we had previous t*sser PMs is no reason to tolerate the lying and corruption we are suffering at the moment. The fact that most people don't care doesn't make it ok.
I completely agree CoolCoco. This is now not 14 years ago. I think history will judge Boris Johnson much more harshly than it will Tony Blair in fact, but that’s not what this is about.
I think Urmstongran is wrong too in thinking that younger people aren’t that interested or taking notice of what’s happening, I’d say it’s actually quite the opposite, they are more engaged than they have been for a long time at the moment because they are feeling the direct impact of the rising prices, are more environmentally aware than our generation, and are worried about the future - as well of course as Ukraine. Political issues are top of their agenda at the moment, at least the ones I know.
