Avon had a Honeysuckle solid perfume stick which smelt exactly like fresh honeysuckle does in the evening. I was given a very pretty long sleeved long nightie from M and S for Christmas. Loved the smell of Pond's vanishing cream, my mother used it. And Hinds Almond and Honey hand cream.

Minadex .... I think you may actually still be able to buy this though I have not taken it for at least 50 years.
My Mum had the idea I was a sickly child who had " poorly " spells. She'd feed me Minadex and I grew.
I blame her for the fact I am 6 foot !

I was fed Minadex as well! I only made it to 5' 10.5", but my sister made it to 6'1"! What on earth was in that stuff??

I had Minadex but am only 5' 3"! I really miss Givenchy Trois perfume; had to switch to Chanel No 5. Anyone else remember Border Cream chocolate?

My nana used to always buy me oil of ulay in a pink jar. Bought it for me from I was 16 mind you my skin ain’t too bad at 62!

You can still get malt and cod liver oil from chemists and places like farm shops.

Coffee creams in a box of chocolates.

I also liked Aquamanda perfume in its dark brown bottle and Old Jamaica chocolate - Caramac and Spanish Gold too!
I’ve got Gardenia perfume from Floris but lots do it from M&S to Chanel and Gucci.
