This is on the mobile site and has happened since the new local forums went live. Think they just copied from Mumsnet. I emailed GNHQ about it last week.

Are you on the mobile site? You get ads on the desktop site but they are at the side, not at the bottom. To get ads for nappies and car seats would be slightly less disturbing than the one for some kind of assault rifle that keeps cropping up on mine!! Heaven knows what “triggered” that one! ?. I’m not a homicidal maniac, honest, Guv.

Apart from the Mumsnet pregnancy and baby stuff right at the bottom, I'm getting adverts from a plus size clothing company. I'm only a size 14 honest!

I m on the mobile site and get NO adverts at the bottom I have one for a shop called Corneliani across the top and a small one at the side for Fragrance direct but that’s all and nothing at all at the bottom

I only access GN on my laptop and have Adblocker installed so do not get any ads.
