Had my birthday yesterday

Happy belated birthdays ladies. I have a group of friends with whom I share Birthday cream teas. We don't stick to the date but celebrate when we can meet up. Perhaps we could give Mick a list of birthdays and he could signal up the dates when he does his morning call.

Meetups?? I had no idea that these took place. Sadly I'm in Leicestershire otherwise I could have joined you for belated birthday wishes and wine!!

I get the distinct feeling there is something missing in your life not related to having a friend. People don't however come knocking at your door saying can I be your friend so join a club that's how friends can be made..

Happy belated birthday, here's a birthday cake to enjoy.

My birthday was lats month. Obviously the pool of card senders is getting smaller but I was thrilled to get a card from my godmother who must be in her late 90s and has great difficulty getting out to buy and post cards.

So sorry to hear that. I got a lot of messages but only 2 cards!! Are you getting out enough, involved in enough activities.

I have a friend who puts her cards up, Christmas and birthday, on the rail around her living room so she enjoys them all year.
I worked with a lovely lady who is a Jehovahs Witness so never celebrates her birthday or Christmas just wedding anniversary. I should have asked her why but never did.
