I love the YouTube clip. I also like to call a spade, a spade and prefer 'died' because that is what has happened. I do try to be caring when talking to bereaved people but I'm afraid I still use the word 'died'. We use a lot of euphemisms mostly I think to cover our own embarrassment and it can be very confusing at times.
