Prompted by a very thoughtful gransnetter, this 'ere thread has been set up for members to wish each other a merry Christmas over the festive season - especially those who might be alone and fancy chatting with someone on the day (or any other day, really...).

So...we may as well begin with our best wishes from GNHQ - a very merry Christmas to one and all! We hope Father Christmas brings sufficient mince pies, Baileys, board games, turkey and presents to see you through!

Hope everyone of you has a lovely Christmas. This is my first GN Xmas and I have to say how I have enjoyed all the support and humour and discussion. Xxxx

Finished????!!!
I am busy making bread sauce and white sauce for the pudding. And crying over the onions.... Just decided to put the food in the car tonight, to get it out of the way, then realised my sister is picking me up! But so long as I remember it I can do that anyway! Have done no wrapping yet ... ..........................think I am gently flapping.

And I must write an email for my oldest friend near Cairns in Queensland, had a very upset mail from her last night re horrible happening there. Trying to think what to say while stirring milk+onions.

However, I had better get on now.
SEASONS GREETING TO ALL AT GRANSNET
- AND THANKS FOR THE LAST YEAR!

Twiddling my thumbs now, having finished all the preparations for tomorrow's lunch tchblush! My neighbour has left me the use of her fridge as she is away, very useful.

Merry Christmas to one and all!
I'll be spending Christmas night and Boxing Day with Dad at his house. I drew the short straw and will be sleeping?? over. He has lost all track of time these days.
I must remember to take plenty of supplies with me, and perhaps the Baileys.tchsmile
