I’ve been underwhelmed with the Proms this year but a bit of James Bond is OK for a Saturday night!

I’m watching on catch up. Why oh why can’t they find some decent singer? 😫

From Russia with Love is torture.

The music is fantastic, the singers nowhere up to the originals sadly.

I’ve bailed. I agree the music is fantastic but I can’t take any more of the dreadful singing.

Lulu was really good!

Only watched the first half hour, will catch up later, but the singers so far were not very good.

‘From Russia…’ oh, where is Matt Monro when you need him?

As for the next chap….., don’t give up the day job!

Watched this, the singers were definitely not up to the performing these big numbers.

The orchestra were good, loved the instrumentals.

The start was terrible.

Lulu was fantastic but the other singers were awful and flat. What a shame.

Very disappointed with some of the vocalists. I liked Oliver, who sounded like he has musical theatre experience and Lulu was ok but most of the others were either flat or didn't have strong enough voices. Shame because the orchestra were very good.

The singers were mostly just not up to it. Surely she isn't going to tackle Goldfinger, I thought of one of them, but alas she did.
