I agree. I’ve given up trying to follow the plots and it’s not the same without Clarissa.

Sadly I agree too.

I’ve felt this way about Silent Witness for a long time. No forensic pathologist would be out chasing criminals nor sitting in the interview room questioning suspects the way the writers have had these characters behaving. Utterly ridiculous.

I so agree merlotgran Clarissa is sorely missed, I didn’t bother watching the end tonight I really could care less what the outcome was.

It lost the plot years ago - much better when Amanda Burton played the lead character, and to some extent when the programme had the actor playing Leo (but even then, it was beginning to become implausible during later episodes with him as the lead, because the other characters were doing things that should have been the domain of the police, not them as forensic pathologists).

Silent Witness is awful - it can make even good actors look bad. It has the feeling of a very cheap production.

This is the first season I’ve watched.

It's become quite sentimental. TBH I was bored...

Oh dear, I must be very shallow. I enjoy SW as a work of fiction. I didn't watch the original series though.
DH lectured in Forensic Science so I know that it is light years away from reality, but it did boost the student numbers!

I agree, I watched about half of the first episode, and turned off.
I too miss Clarissa, she was lovely, but over the years it’s become quite ridiculous, and maybe it’s just me, but harder to follow.

I switched to something else today …

Silent witness has lost the plot. Make it factual or forget it
