We watched the first in this series last night (recorded) and found it fascinating. That poor little lass of 18 who was training to be a geisha 
It took her hours to do her hair and put on her makeup.
Perhaps Joanna is specially interested in that, because I seem to remember she spends a lot of time putting on her makeup in the morning, before she ventures out.
She's such a good presenter though.
