Afternoon Treat.

I thought I'd treat myself to a lazy afternoon so after flicking around the telly for a while I noticed that Channel 5 was showing part 2 of Rosamund Pilcher's 'Coming Home' about Nancherrow.

I found part 1 on Catch Up and dived straight in! I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed the book and remember the TV adaptation from years ago but it hasn't dated a bit.

Pure Bliss....With a bit of luck I'll be able to watch part 2 tomorrow.

I love all Rosamund Pilchers books, am reading September at the moment.

Ive just watched the second part today, I was gnashing my teeth yesterday as the recording failed so I saw only part of it. I have read the book and seen the film so many times , I love anything by Rosamund Pilcher.

I indulged myself with a two parter that was shown last week, on chanel 5 I player.

Lots of classic actors in it. Can't remember what it was called!

Last weeks RP was called ' Fighting for her Family' strange title! I think the RP book must be called something else. It's still available on ch 5 I player.

Soppy, but good for a wet, dark afternoon.

I don't normally watch telly during the day. Does Channel 5 do a lot of these dramas?

If so, that's bad news. I have skirting boards to paint!
