Discoloured grey/silver hair

My hair has been grey/white for years since I stopped dying it but lately the whiter hair at the front has developed a distinct yellow streak it’s horrible. I’ve tried several of the purple treatments it tones it down but gives my other hair a nasty lavender hue which takes a few washes to get it. Anyone got any suggestions. I rarely use heat on my hair and wear it up in this heat so it really shows and looks awful.

You could get a hairdresser to bleach out the yellow streak or do it yourself.
The yellow colour must be coming from somewhere, so look at what’s causing it?

My silver/white hair has a yellow tinge at the front due to the sun.

I think thats whats caused mine too Mazgg. I certainly won't be bleaching it I did enough of that in my younger years. I actually can't remember the last time I went to a hairdressers. I might try just trying to put the purple toner on the worst bits see how that looks.
