My partner died of Coronavirus last year and since then I’ve managed to survive on self-neglect and cheese sandwiches. The main victim is my hair. I’m not in the least bit vain, and barely, at the best of times, look in the mirror but my hair is a disgrace. I look like a super-annuated Worzel Gummidge. It has virtually gone white over the last year or so and the texture is coarse and nasty. I have tried many many conditioners, hair masks and treatments; I’ve only just washed out a leave-in product which was on for 24 hours and has made not the slightest difference. I’m well aware that I need to address my diet and lifestyle but has anyone -PLEASE - got any tried and tested recommendations which may help? While I’m not yet ready to face the world again I’d like to do so with a decent head of hair when I do.
