just googled it, seems it is popular in Japan and Korea. Uses hot rods! and different setting lotion.

sounds really good!

Oh, if only I had enough hair to make it worth it.

Does anyone have perms these days apart from ladies over 80.

I wondered that. Is there a more modern version?

Wonder what the Queen has.

I have a perm about once a year. I`m hopeless at styling hair, can`t blow dry it or use a hot brush, so a perm means that I don't have to suffer the rollers every night, just when I wash it or for special occasions.

I would like this sort of perm

But my hair's shorter than hers, with about a third thickness, it's grey, and I'm old.

sad

I would NOT want the Queen's sort of perm.

Camilla's hair is very nice.

That perm looks like it is done on big rods and would probably add thickness. I loved my wash and wear perm in the 1970s.
