Fascinating article about massive deep ocean wave-breaking and the possible effects of such. Cutting edge science but v readable. There's also a link to the original article in the journal Geophysical Research Letters.

Thank you - GN has just gone up a few notches in my DH's estimation. He's telling me about internal waves and density differences.... a very interesting area of oceanography apparently - "fantastic" he says and critical for climate modelling.
We aim to please here on GN don't we.
