Blow me; whenever you think you know everything there is to know about the natural world you find out about something else. I had no idea that butterflies migrated at all 
.Amazing. Moving more towards a bit of twitching, someone I know asked me if I'd seen many songbirds recently, and I admitted that I hadn't. He said that's because we've got a sparrowhawk in the area; the other day he suddenly found his conservatory full of goldfinches [or greenfinches?] and, next thing he knew the sparrowhawk was in the conservatory as well. Mus've been quite a shock!
