"Virtual Conservative Party Conference"??

Hello all, good wishes to you.

Just heard this on BBC Radio 4 News.

Can one actually be a "Virtual Conservative" ? It conjures up images of shadowy, ethereal figures.(Perhaps wraiths might be a better description)

Surely it should have been "Conservative Party Virtual Conference"?

Happy to sit corrected if I'm wrong! ?

Yes, to me too, it should have been Conservative Party Virtual Conference. It seems clumsy though.

Virtual Conservative Party sounds like a party that isn't quite Conservative, but nearly so.

I wonder what that should be called?
