Seems not - Mr Trump does whatever he wants, has been allowed to use the military as being exclusively at his personal disposal and God help anyone even whispering opposition.

His behaviour is straight out of the Putin & Gadaffi handbook of political etiquette.

Sadly, the structure of the political system in America gladly rubber stamps wholesale approval for his activities. Why?

He is a looser cannon who seems to be able to say or do whatever he wants with no checks. It is frightening.

The supreme court and others have all put a limit on his mad gallop at times. Last week the supreme court struck down his determination to stop any child born in the US to immigrant parents automatically getting US citizenship.

He has also had to row back from a number of other things. His name is no longer on the Kennedy Centre. There have been a number of other issues, large and small, where he has been stopped doing what he wanted. But his setbacks are drowned out by his Press Office.
