The fourth and latest book has had its publication date set back by her publisher.
I don’t think using a false name is wrong doing, all authors or most anyway have a non de plume.

I agree that the truth seems to have been twisted.

It seems quite telling that since the Observer article appeared no friends or family have come forward to stand up for them

So does the fuss make any of you, who haven’t already, go out and buy the book?

Quite. Their kids, other family, former neighbours, other students from Plymouth Uni where “Moth” studied for a degree after they completed (if they did) their walk. The wealthy guy who rented them his farm so that they could get it fertile again - he refuses to comment.

Bluebell, a lot is different, they didn't do the whole walk, the theft from her employer of a great deal of money, the illness, their character, no one has anything good to say about them, the remortgaging of their farm to buy a house in France, the fact that their friends did not let them off dontgeyvgetcdroppedo made joneses, , the court case. You have to ask where was there any truth in it.

Sorry again it changed the sentence, should have been, their friends did not rip them off forcing them into bankruptcy.

Aarrggh, it gets worse and worse, doesn’t it ? A friend of mine who didn’t know about this business said to me she felt very suspicious of the two of them after reading the book and watching the film. Her daughter is a doctor so she had a bit of a clue about the ‘illness’. Truth will out !

Yes it is out now. The facts speak for them selves. She is still wriggling out of certain things blaming the messengers, when you've made millions and on a roll the last thing you need is the truth getting in the way of that. Doubt people will be turning up to any more talks she make. I wouldn't be doing business with the pair.

I bought the first book due to the good reviews that it had enjoyed. I reached the part where she took the terminally ill Moth out into the wet and dark wilderness but forgot to put his tablets in their rucksack! A few pages more and I thought I don't believe this woman nor do i believe the hard luck background. It went back on the bookshelf where it still resides but tomorrow I'm donating it to the charity shop, I don't even want it in my house. She is a liar, they have been exposed and if I were them I think I would have to leave the country and live under an assumed name. I'm sure they will be able to manage that!

Sally Walker aka Raynor Winn can actually write. If she'd presented this work as a novel, it might have done well.
I feel sorry for the people involved in the film. They must feel they've been conned into portraying a lie.
