Of course she is, she wants to extend talks forever lol. She's hoping Labour or Lib Dems get a majority if there is a general election and that will be the end of Brexit and we will be shackled to the EU for ever, what a thought.

Great news! So there is absolutely no need to go out with No Deal. The new PM will have time to show of their negotiating skills to the full.

At the moment she can only count on 179 votes from the EPP. That means she still has a way to go to get the 374 needed.

The fuss was because democracy failed. Ursula von der Leyen was nominated to swap the German defence ministry for the president's office at the European Commission.

Some have hailed this "top job" pick as a victory for equality, but others are much less happy – including many of the members of the European Parliament, who will be voting on July 16 on whether to confirm Von der Leyen for the job.

At least it shows how much the EU want us to stay in. Perhaps if they had appreciated us more and treated us with more respect we wouldn't have needed to have a referendum and wouldn't be in this quandary!

I think it was a question of us treating them with more respect. We were one of the Big Three and a lot of EU initiatives came from the UK. Respect from our government but journalists like one A.B P. Johnson liked to amuse themselves by making things up about the EU when they were reporting from Brussels. And a lot of the made up stuff stuck...

The EU started a 'Euromyths' blog in about 1992, full of UK media stories about the EU that weren't true, or distorted the truth. It's huge...

Robert Ophele, France's top financial regulator is demanding the restrictive eu rules change as they currently leave little room for national authorities to adapt to changing inviroments, such as Brexit.

That is why it has been relentlessly promoted by Vladimir Putin.

Many decent folk might have been fooled along the way but the time has come fore us all to wake up and resist this contemptable movement and stop brexit.
