Am I missing something?

I love this forum and often add my comments to discussions. However I never get a notification that I've had a reply. I'm a member of another forum and when you "Watch" a thread you automatically get emails when something is added. Is this something gransnet does? and if so, am I doing it wrong? I always tick "watch this thread" by the way.
